Step by Step Method

Step 1

Melt butter and add garlic in a medium sauce pan. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute.

Step 2

Add flour and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Stir in broth and milk and cook, stirring frequently, until sauce boils and thickens.

Step 4

Add parsley, salt, pepper and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.

Step 5

Toss hot pasta with sauce, and serve immediately.

We love this pasta and I have made it a couple of times. This last time I added in broccoli, but you can add in any that you like to get your vegetables in. This is very tasty indeed!

Made half a recipe for supper,LOVED this pasta sauce! Almost identical to one of our family favorites, the addition of the chicken broth gives this a new to us taste, one we loved! Made as posted and wouldn't change a thing other than doubling for our weekend guests. Into my Favorites Cookbook!
