"Another one of my favorite tuna recipe, I've made this with canned salmon I like both but I think I like the tuna better, this serves two larger appetites or 3 smaller, you can double amounts"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, melt butter; blend in flour and garlic salt. Remove from heat; gradually whisk in milk. Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Reduce heat and cook an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Step 2

Mix in Parmesan or romano cheese, drained cooked peas and flaked tuna to the sauce; heat through. Season with pepper (as much as you would like) and more garlic salt or white salt if needed.

Step 3

To serve, spoon tuna over toast and garnish with hard cooked egg slices.

I just tryed this, I'm rating it 5 stars however I thought it was a little to thick I'll reduce the flour to 2 tablespoons next time but I'm not taking off a star for that, someone else may like it thicker, I loved the hard-boiled eggs addition, it's a great recipe, I thank you.
