"I make this to use in Beef Stroganoff. It is a great substitute for the canned stuff. It is also wonderful as a soup to have with a sandwich or crackers. It makes 1 1/2 cups or 1 can of condensed soup."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in large skillet.
Step 2
Add in mushrooms, and cook for about 2 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in flour and seasonings.
Step 4
Cook over medium heat for just 1 more minute.

Add milk slowly, stirring with wire whisk. Cook until just about thick.
