Step 1
Walnuts ... Add the walnuts to a dry saute pan and bring to medium high heat. Cook just a couple of minutes until you can smell the nuts. Toasting just bring out their natural oils and, they taste better. Once they cool, lightly chop.
Step 2
Beans ... Add the beans to a large saute pan and fill with 1" or so of water, just so the beans are almost covered. I prefer to use a pan vs a pot - the beans cook quicker and more even. Simmer on medium heat until the beans are tender.
Step 3
Finish ... Drain the beans and stir in the orange juice, butter, cranberries, and walnuts. Toss lightly.
Step 4
Serve ... Simply ENJOY!
