Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the broth ingredients together and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, cook the bacon pieces down till they are brick red.
Step 3
Add the onions and cook until translucent.
Step 4
Add some chopped garlic.
Step 5
Add the broth and let this simmer for 20 minutes are so.
Step 6
Add the canned green beans (drained) to the broth.
Step 7
Bring to a boil and then turn off the heat.
Step 8
You do no boil or simmer the green beans for long just enough to heat through.
Step 9
Then let them soak in fridge overnight to absorb flavors.
