"I asked around for a recipe like this, many years ago, and was given this one. It's been so long I don't remember who gave it to me, but I remember trying it and really enjoying it. Looking at it again, it sounds like a strata with cheese and breakfast sausage. Looking forward to making it again soon. Prep time includes 12.5 hours refrigeration."

We have always enjoyed breakfast casseroles so knew this one would be a great match for us. I used the onion powder and added a bit more cheese. Put the casserole in the fridge about 6 am and we had a very nice late supper on the weekend. Only thing I would do different next time is maybe used a seasoned roll of sausage. Made and reviewed for FYC tag game.

Daily Inspiration

I've made many of these casseroles over the years and this one was equally good. It's so easy to make and a great way to serve brunch to kiddos who wake up at varying times on the weekends. This was an effortless way to serve up a great breakfast.
