Place all the corn cobs lengthwise in bag and seal, leaving a 1/4-inch gap in seal.

Step 3

Microwave corn on HIGH for 8 minutes for fresh corn (Bag will expand and hold in steam, but the gap will prevent the bag from bursting. When done, remove bag from microwave with pot-holders and open away from face to avoid injury from steam.

I liked our corn this way because it's fast. I wrapped mine in a wet paper towel instead of the plastic because it's not healthy to use any type of plastic to use in the microwave, but the paper towels served the purpose and the corn was delicious!

I have cooked corn this way. It is delicious. ***-Ziploc says they do not have BPA in their bags. So this is not dangerous.

This would be a good method if it weren't for the fact that you can get cancer from wrapping your corn in plastic or using plastic containers in the microwave. It is VERY DANGEROUS for your family.

This recipe was made on 6/23/ for the " Canada Day " Picnic portion of the " SUMMER VACATION " event in the Games Forum. The corn didn't turn out as moist as we are used to,but extra butter helped with that( And there's never anything wrong with extra butter is there?). But I'm thinking it was because the corn wasn't as fresh as it should have been. But just because this method is so easy,I'm going to prepare corn on the cob this way from now on.

This is great...I do this quite often when fresh corn is on. Usually I do about 2 minutes per ear. There is no hastle in getting a big pan out and waiting for the water to boil. Thank you for posting.
