Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease 9x13 baking pan, set aside.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips. Stir constantly and remove from heat when chips are fully melted.

Step 3

Blend in sugar.

Step 4

Let cool slightly or temper eggs with some of the chocolate mixture. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

Step 5

Add flour and salt and mix until air bubbles from in the batter.

Step 6

Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 20 minutes. TURN DOWN oven to 325 degrees and bake another 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Step 7

For Cookie Dough Layer: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in milk and vanilla. Gradually add flour and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls over cooled brownies; carefully spread over top. It's sticky, but it helps to wet the spatula (or your fingers!) with water and gently pat dough down.

Step 8

Store in refrigerator.

I made these today and they are so delicious I can't leave them alone! I added walnuts into the cookie dough layer. I can't wait to share these with my family.  Thank you for sharing with us!  Linda
