Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place cola, ketchup and barbecue sauce ingredients in a large fry pan and bring to a boil and mix while boiling.

Step 2

Add in chicken. Cover and turn heat to medium.

Step 3

Cook for 35 stirring real often. Uncover, and cook an additional 10-15 minutes until done.

Step 4

Serve with rice.

I'm giving this recipe 4 stars for the sauce minus the chicken! When saving the leftovers we ended up tossing the chicken out since it was very dry and tough. But it is the nature of the beast as breast meat tends to be drier than dark. I would make the sauce again to go with pulled pork. I think it would be amazing. At the end of cooking I took the chicken out and cut it into bite sized pieces. Then I put it back in coating it with the sauce. Then I served it on a bed of couscous. Made for Biilboard tag.
