Citrus Barbecued Chicken

Step 1

Place the chicken in a plastic ziploc bag.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine juices, oil and seasonings.

Step 3

Mix well.

Step 4

Add to chicken in bag and turn to coat.

Step 5

Let stand for 25 minutes, turning occasionally.

Step 6

On greased grill, cook chicken over hot coals 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until done.

Step 7

Brush frequently with marinade while cooking.

This chicken had great flavor due to the marinade. I really appreciated the short marination time since I forgot to prep. Luckily, I only had to wait 20 minutes or so before putting the chicken on the grill. This made for a quick, yummy, and healthy meal. Thank you!

I love grilled lemon chicken and the fresh lime juice was a nice addition. Enjoyed the zip from the oregano and chili powder perfect amount for us. Marinated in the refrigerator for about 4 hours and had very moist chicken breasts. Served with dutch oven potatoes and cucumber salad. Made and reviewed FYC tag game.
