"Went to an apple orchard today and got some varieties that are good for drying. Most varieties can be dried, it's just that the less juicy varieties will dry more quickly. To jazz up plain dried apples, it's sometimes fun to make a dip - kids especially like dipping!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Using a mandolin slicer, cut apples into 1/8-inch-thick slices. Depending on the exact size of apple, this should yield approximately 10 slices per apple.
Step 2
Arrange apple slices in rows on 2 parchment-lined cookie sheets. Make sure that apples do not overlap. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon. OR Place in dehydrator and follow instructions for dehydrating apples.
Step 3
If using the oven, bake both cookie sheets together at 225° for 3 hours, turning once, until slices dehydrate and edges curl.
Step 4
Remove chips from oven or dehydrator and cool on a baking rack for an hour. Store in an airtight container.
Step 5
In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and remaining ingredients. Stir until combined and smooth.
Step 6
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
