"Very easy, tasty recipe. Do not leave the scallops in the marinade longer than 30 minutes as the lime juice will cook the scallops. Also be very careful not to overy cook scallops or the become tough - 2-3 minutes per side is just right for large Sea Scallops.

Mix 1/4 cup olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, cilantro, chile flakes and garlic.
Sprinkle scallops with salt & pepper.
Add scallops to the marinade, cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Remove scallops from marinade, discard the marinade.
Heat 1 table spoon oil in a heavy skillet, medium high heat.
Place scallops in the skillet.
Sear until lightly browned, 2 t0 3 minutes each side.
Serve with lime wedges.
