Step 1: Mix 1/4 cup olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, cilantro, chile flakes and garlic.
Step 2: Sprinkle scallops with salt & pepper.
Step 3: Add scallops to the marinade, cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Remove scallops from marinade, discard the marinade.
Step 5: Heat 1 table spoon oil in a heavy skillet, medium high heat.
Step 6: Place scallops in the skillet.
Step 7: Sear until lightly browned, 2 t0 3 minutes each side.
Step 8: Serve with lime wedges.
