Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, choppe
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes (xcrushed)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound sea scallops (12 large)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Lime wedges, for serving

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix 1/4 cup olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, cilantro, chile flakes and garlic.

  • Step 2: Sprinkle scallops with salt & pepper.

  • Step 3: Add scallops to the marinade, cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • Step 4: Remove scallops from marinade, discard the marinade.

  • Step 5: Heat 1 table spoon oil in a heavy skillet, medium high heat.

  • Step 6: Place scallops in the skillet.

  • Step 7: Sear until lightly browned, 2 t0 3 minutes each side.

  • Step 8: Serve with lime wedges.
