Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, beat ½ cup powdered sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

Step 3

Add the vanilla and melted chocolate; mix well.

Step 4

At low speed, mix in the flour and salt. Mix until dough holds together.

Step 5

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Step 6

Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment line cookie sheet.

Step 7

Bake for 10-11 minutes.

Step 8

Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely.

Step 9

In a small bowl, combine the cocoa and powdered sugar. Roll cooled truffles into the mixture.
