Step 1
Heat oven to 350.
Step 2
Melt butter in a 8x8x2 square pan.

Sprinkle brown sugar over butter.

Peel bananas and slice into 1/2-inch slices, arrange evenly over sugar.

Prepare cake mix as directed on package.

Pour half of the batter evenly over banana slices (the remainder of the batter can be used to make a second cake, or however you see fit).
