Step 1

Chop chicken into 1 inch pieces.

Step 2

Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce in medium bowl;

Add chicken, stir and let sit for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Combine sake, chicken broth,soy sauce, sugar, salt, cornstarch and sesame oil;

Set aside.

Step 6

Heat oil in wok.

Step 7

Stir fry chicken 2 minutes until lightly browned.

Step 8

Remove all but 2 teaspoons oil from wok.

Step 9

Stir fry dried pepper and peppercorns briefly.

Step 10

Add minced ginger and cooked chicken stir fry 1 minute.

Step 11

Add seasoning sauce; stir until sauce thickens.

Step 12

Stir in peanuts.

Step 13

Serve over hot rice.
