Step by Step Method

Step 1

With a very sharp knife, cut beef across grain into thin strips, 1/8-inch thick.

Step 2

Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

Step 3

Add beef, toss and set aside while preparing vegetables.

Step 4

Heat oil in wok.

Step 5

Add beef mixture and toss over high heat until browned.

Step 6

Turn heat up and add vegetables.

Step 7

Toss until vegetables are tender crisp, about 10 minutes.

Step 8

Mix cornstarch with broth.

Step 9

Add to wok and stir and cook until thickened.

Step 10

Add tomatoes and heat through.

Very good and easy! I skipped the celery and tomato and used an extra bell pepper (using red and yellow bell peppers),but otherwise made as directed. Served over rice for a delicious meal. Thanks for sharing!

I cut the recipe down to 2 servings...we really enjoyed this Chinese dish...although both the hubby and I didn't care for the tomato...they were left on the plate...otherwise it was so yummy...the meat was so tender and the vegetables were crisp...I used both red and green peppers...I served it over rice like suggested...thanks dee for sharing the recipe...made for "Pick Me" tag game...
