"This is a great way to get the picky eaters to eat broccoli, the cheesy taste will lure everyone in. I sometimes use bacon drippings instead of butter to change it up a bit. I use the Hoosier Hill Farm brand cheese powder for this."
Break the broccoli into florets and place in a pot.
Add about 1/2 an inch of water, cover and bring to a boil over medium-high heat;simmer until it start to soften.
Remove from heat and drain; set aside while keeping this covered.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and whisk in the sweet rice flour.
Allow this mixture to bubble and foam for about a minute; stir in the milk a bit at a time and cook until thickened.
Stir in the cheese powder, onion powder, garlic powder and ground pepper and then gently stir in the steamed broccoli making sure it is well coated.
Enjoy!
