Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Step 2

In a large saucepan boil the potatoes for 15 minutes or until just tender; drain.

Step 3

Place the potatoes on an ungreased baking sheet with the cut side up.

Step 4

Spread a spoonful of ranch dressing on top of each potato half.

Step 5

Sprinkle the potatoes with the Colby and Monterey Jack cheeses, and lightly dust with pepper.

Step 6

Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Loved the cheesy goodness. The ranch was a bit overpowering for me, but my ranch loving son thought they were perfect. Great side for tonights chicken dinner!

So easy and the results are so good! These potatoes came out creamy and with the added flavor of the Ranch dressing and cheese, just topped it off with more flavor. Makes for a perfect accompaniment to any meal. One of my daughters who loves Ranch dressing was salivating over these potatoes. Thank you Lazyme for sharing. Made it for FYC.
