Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients. Separately, combine eggs, milk, butter and then mix well into the dry ingredients.

Step 2

Stir in the remaining ingredients (cheese, apples, nuts).

Step 3

Spoon into a loaf pan (9 inch by 5 inch) that has been lined with parchment paper (best) or else has been well-greased and lightly floured.

Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 min or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes, remove from pan, continue to cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
