"Celeric (celery root) is an almost undiscovered vegetable and it is delicious. It looks so ugly! Tastes mildly of celery. You have to peel quite deep to get all the ruts and peel away from the inside white meat"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel the root so you have only the white meat, chop into 1/2 inch cubes
Step 2
Bring a pot of water to a boil, drop in the celeric and cook for only 5 minutes, drain
Step 3
Lightly spray a skillet with oil, add celeric and onions, season with salt and pepper
Step 4
Stir fry the veggies over medium high heat for about 5 minutes or until they start to brown.
Step 5
Add wine and continue cooking for about another 5 minutes, stirring the vegetables a few times
Step 6
Just before the vegetables are cooked add the soya sauce and serv
