Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 celeric root, peeled, approximately 1 1/2 cups, 1/2 inch diced
  • 1 cup sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce, low sodium
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Peel the root so you have only the white meat, chop into 1/2 inch cubes

  • Step 2: Bring a pot of water to a boil, drop in the celeric and cook for only 5 minutes, drain

  • Step 3: Lightly spray a skillet with oil, add celeric and onions, season with salt and pepper

  • Step 4: Stir fry the veggies over medium high heat for about 5 minutes or until they start to brown.

  • Step 5: Add wine and continue cooking for about another 5 minutes, stirring the vegetables a few times

  • Step 6: Just before the vegetables are cooked add the soya sauce and serv
