"This is such a lovely side dish to add to almost any meal especially Holiday meals. Goes great with Lamb, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef and others. They only take 10 minutes to saute. This recipe was originally from My Recipes. If you wish to use fresh onions, clean them and steam them for about 5 minutes before proceeding with the recipe"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in a non stick skillet, medium heat, add sugar and onions Saute 8 minutes stirring often.
Step 2
Add red pepper and remaining ingredient, stir frequently for another 2 minutes.
Step 3
The onions should be golden and the pepper still crisp
