"Around this house, I'm known as the "COOKIE MONSTER" and this particular cookie monster has a special fondness for easy-fix shortbread cookie recipes. Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°.
Step 2
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in flour.
Step 3
Press dough into an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Prick with a fork.

Bake until light brown (30-35 min).
Step 5
Cut into squares while warm. Cool completely on a wire rack. If desired, dust lightly with powdered sugar.
