Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2

Butter 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish.

Step 3

In the baking dish toss the squash cubes with maple syrup, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Place the butter cubes over the top.

Step 5

Bake uncovered until squash is tender, stirring occasionally, about 35 minutes.

Step 6

After baking sprinkle the nuts over top then serve.

This squash will be made again. I cut the Maple Syrup back and also the butter as I was cooking less than the total recipe. Bake time is just right.
