Step 1
Cut beet tops off 2 inches from beet to prevent bleeding. Do not remove skin or roots. Cover with water, cook until tender 30-50 minutes. Cool. Rub off skins and slice or dice
Step 2
Melt butter in saucepan. Add to beets. Mix well.
Step 3
Season with salt and pepper. So yummy!
