Beets fresh out of the garden can't be better when you can find a basic recipe like this that tastes so good. I was happy to find it here to try and they were sweet and delicious!

You cannot compare these beets with canned buttered beets - these are so superior. Beets are not my favorite veggie but I really enjoyed this easy recipe Thanks sweety_Lisa for posting it and reminding me that very often simple is best! 16 Jan15 I make this recipe over & over again.I continue to enjoy it. 21 Nov 2017. My favorite way to serve beets - simple but so very good.

mmm sooo simple and sooo delicious !! We loved these and look forward to having them again through beet season. I had bought a bunch of beet tops and these were the little baby beets attached, they boiled up so nicely and took no time at all to finish in the butter, salt and pepper - YUM !!
