Step by Step Method

Step 1

Separate ground beef into 4 even sections.

Step 2

Place each section between waxed paper about 6 x 6-inch .

Step 3

Roll or pound to 1/4 inch thick.

Step 4

Spread each "burger" with mustard.

Step 5

Add chopped onion, evenly.

Step 6

Add garlic evenly.

Step 7

Add cheese evenly.

Step 8

Add hot sauce.

Step 9

Place one hot dog on one edge of "burger".

Step 10

Roll and seal.

Step 11

Either cook over hot coals or pan fry until done to your liking (about 15 - 20 minutes).

Step 12

Serve on rolls.

This is a great solution when you don't know whether you want a burger or hot dog! I topped mine with onion, pickles, relish and lost of mustard. What a way to go!

Great idea. I made it with ground pork & a smoked polish sausage. Served on a low calorie pita bread. Wonderful flavour. I will make this again using ground beef and a hotdog. Thanks Shadows for a great Saturday Night burger dog.
