"A quick meal with lots of flavor, it really works for any meal of the day. Adapted from tasb on fooddotcom, who came up with it with her cousin when they were tweens. Can be made with any kind of rice."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In skillet over medium heat, fry bacon until half done, then drain off the fat.
Step 2
Add vegetables and saute a couple more minutes.
Step 3
Add rice and sprinkle on garlic powder and soy sauce. Don't be shy with the garlic powder, it adds a nice depth to the flavor.
Step 4
Add beaten egg and stir occasionally until rice is hot and egg is cooked.
