Step 1: In skillet over medium heat, fry bacon until half done, then drain off the fat.
Step 2: Add vegetables and saute a couple more minutes.
Step 3: Add rice and sprinkle on garlic powder and soy sauce. Don't be shy with the garlic powder, it adds a nice depth to the flavor.
Step 4: Add beaten egg and stir occasionally until rice is hot and egg is cooked.
