Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 bacon slices (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, optional
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, optional
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice (cold)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Soy sauce, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In skillet over medium heat, fry bacon until half done, then drain off the fat.

  • Step 2: Add vegetables and saute a couple more minutes.

  • Step 3: Add rice and sprinkle on garlic powder and soy sauce. Don't be shy with the garlic powder, it adds a nice depth to the flavor.

  • Step 4: Add beaten egg and stir occasionally until rice is hot and egg is cooked.
