  • You can use any type of cooking oil, such as vegetable or canola.

  • Substitute almond flour for all-purpose flour - Almond flour is a great option for those who are gluten-free or looking for an alternative to all-purpose flour. It has a slightly nuttier flavor and is higher in protein and fiber.
  • Substitute coconut oil for cooking oil - Coconut oil is a healthier alternative to traditional cooking oil. It has a higher smoke point, so it won't burn as easily, and it contains healthy fats that can help boost your metabolism.

Simple waffles recipe. Maybe the best one I've tried yet. I liked the tip of letting it sit so it can rise.

One of my favorite breakfasts! Delicious tender and yummy waffles! We have ours with frozen strawberries thawed and whipped cream or I make a blueberry sauce and thicken with cornstarch and serve hot over the top. Either way is deserving of 5+ Stars!
