Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the barbecue sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, liquid smoke, and red pepper flakes together in a separate bowl.
Step 2
Season the chops with garlic salt, onion powder, and ground pepper.

Give them a quick brown in some oil in a skillet (not to long just until they are browned on both sides).
Step 4
Layer the pork chops in your slow cooker, making sure to put the sauce on each chop as you go.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. The pork should be fall-apart-tender when done.
