  • Garlic salt, onion powder
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite BBQ sauce, Sweet Baby Ray`s is really good)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (use if you want it spicy)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the barbecue sauce, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, liquid smoke, and red pepper flakes together in a separate bowl.

  • Step 2: Season the chops with garlic salt, onion powder, and ground pepper.

  • Step 3: Give them a quick brown in some oil in a skillet (not to long just until they are browned on both sides).

  • Step 4: Layer the pork chops in your slow cooker, making sure to put the sauce on each chop as you go.

  • Step 5: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. The pork should be fall-apart-tender when done.
