"I heard this recipe from her book "Fast Fresh & Fabulous" by Janelle Bloom being discussed on a radio show and knew straight away it was the same recipe my mother used to use, so I looked the recipe up and made it. These apples bought bake such great childhood memories, served with ice cream or custard they are real comfort food, and just as good cold the next day."
