Step 1: Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius fan forced.
Step 2: Lightly grease a baking dish.
Step 3: Combine the flour and cinnamon in a large bowl and add the butter ~ use your fingertips to rub the butter it into the flour mix until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Step 4: Stir in the brown sugar and oats and again use fingers to mix until crumble almost comes together.
Step 5: Place the apples into the baking dish & press the crumble mixture evenly into the center and over the apples.
Step 6: Bake apples for about 20 minutes or until the apples are just tender and crumble golden
Step 7: Tip ~ If the top begins to brown too much, cover the apples loosely with foil during cooking.
Step 8: Serve warm with ice cream and or custard.
