"Only a few ingredients to make this easy rice side dish that is packed with flavor! It goes great with any main course and is good enough serve to guests. I saw this recipe on Pinterest years ago and knew I had to make cause I love onions!. The original recipe is actually called “Stick of Butter Rice”, the name is changed so as to not scare off anyone, your not eating the whole dish so don't be scared off!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Step 2
In a greased 9x9 or 8x8 inch baking dish combine rice, soup, broth and drained mushrooms. Add pepper to taste.
Step 3
Place the butter slices on top of the mixture.
Step 4
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove cover and bake 30 minutes more.
