"My own baked beans recipe adapted for the crockpot. I made this up when I couldn’t find a recipe I liked. Amounts for all ingredients can be adjusted as you wish. Please note: beans should be soaked overnight, however dry rinsed beans can be used. Adjust time and water added as needed. Slow cookers also vary; mine is an older model."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Soak beans in plenty of water overnight.

Step 2

Drain beans well. Place soaked beans, 1 cup water, and all other ingredients to a slow cooker and mix well.

Step 3

Cook on low for 8-10 hours, adjusting water if needed during cook time.
