Cranberry Walnut French Toast Substitute 5 granny smith apples with 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Omit the brown sugar, butter, and Karo syrup. Sprinkle the cranberries and walnuts over the apples. Mix eggs with milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture and leave for 5-10 seconds. Place on top of cranberries and walnuts with just enough slices to cover the cranberries and walnuts in the baking dish. Pour remaining egg mixture over top of bread. Refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Remove, cut into serving portions and serve with your favorite syrup.

Bacon and Cheese Hashbrowns - This savory dish is the perfect accompaniment to the sweet Baked Apple French Toast. The bacon and cheese add a delicious savory flavor to balance the sweetness of the French Toast. It's a great way to round out the meal!

Scrambled Eggs with Spinach: Scrambled eggs with spinach provide a light and healthy addition to the meal. The spinach adds a nutritional boost and the eggs are a great source of protein.
