Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
Grease a pie dish or baking dish and set aside.
Step 3
In a separate pie dish combine first 5 ingredients (flour - garlic powder).
Step 4
In a separate pie dish mix the egg and milk together.
Step 5
In a separate pie dish put in the bread crumbs.
Step 6
In assembly line fashion - roll scallops in flour mixture, then dip in milk/egg mixture, and then in the breadcrumbs. Wrap each scallops with 1 slice of the (pre-sliced) bacon, secure with a toothpick and transfer to greased dish. Repeat with all the scallops.
Step 7
Bake for 20-25 minutes in pre-heated oven.
Step 8
Serve warm with tartar sauce or cocktail sauce.
