Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with the non-stick aluminum foil.

Step 3

Using a pair of kitchen shears, cut the slab of bacon into thirds.

Step 4

Wrap 1/3 of each slice of bacon around each sausage and secure with a toothpick and place on the baking sheet.

Step 5

Repeat with remaining sausages and bacon. (you can now stick these babies in the fridge until you ready to cook them).

Step 6

Sprinkle brown sugar over sausages and bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes or until bacon has cooked and is starting to brown.

Step 7

Serve hot.

I couldn't wait to try these, and had no problem with the sugar falling off. I added some cayenne pepper in the brown sugar and mixed it in for added flavor. They were yummy and addicting and even my kids loved them! These will be a great appetizer for the holiday coming up!

Loved these. However the brown sugar just fell off most of these (and I admit I liked the ones with it on more). Next time I think I'll dip the bacon in brown sugar before wrapping. Thanks James! Made for Alphabet Soup game.
