Combine bush spice, paprika, lemon rind, 1 1/2 tablespoon oil and 1/2 the garlic in a bowl and mix well to combine and then rub mixture all over the steaks.
Heat a barbecue hotplate and grill on medium high and cook the steak on the hotplate for 3 to 4 minutes each side for medium, or until cooked to your liking and then transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil and stand for 5 minutes or rest.
Meanwhile, toss onion in remaining oil and cook onion on hotplate and pineapple on grill, turning for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly charred.
Lightly spray bread slices on both sides with oil and cook bread on grill for 1 to 2 minutes each side or until lightly toaste.
Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice and remaining garlic in a small bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Place 1'/2 the bread on serving plates and spread with mayonnaise mixture and then top with pineapple, onion, beetroot, steak and lettuce and drizzle with barbecue sauce.
Top with the remaining bread slice and serve.
