"This recipe makes 12 servings, but is easily cut in half. I love the mix of apples with pears. If you like your desserts on the sweet side, use sweet apples, like Honeycrisp. If you like dessert on the tart side, use tart apples, like Granny Smith."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel, core and dice fruit into 1/2" chuncks. Place in a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients for the filling, mixing well.
Step 2
Distribute the filling between 12 8 oz ramekins.
Step 3
Using an electric mixer, combine all of the crumble ingredients. Mix with a paddle attachment on low speed until the mixture is the size of peas.
Step 4
Sprinkle crumble over the fruit.
Step 5
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is browned and the fruit is bubbly.
Step 6
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or freshly whipped cream.
