Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan forced.
Step 2
Grease and line an oven tray with baking paper.
Step 3
Peel, core and halve the apple and then slice very thinly.
Step 4
Cut pastry sheet in half and form 2 rectangles and place the pastries on prepared tray.
Step 5
Arrange the apple slices, overlapping, down the centre of both pastries and the brush the apple with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Step 6
Bake tarts for 15 minutes or until golden and serve with warm apricot jam.
