Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine the first 6 ingredients (-cloves); bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves; reduce heat to medium and simmer until mixture is reduced to 3 1/2 cups (20-25 minutes); strain into a 4-cup measuring cup; cool to room temperature; stir in vinegar and vanilla.

Step 2

Pour into ice pop molds or into 3-ounce paper cups. Partially freeze, insert popsicle sticks (or pop covers with sticks) and freeze overnight.

Step 3

To get pop out of paper cup either hold it in your hand to warm it up a bit and slip it off or cut a slit in the paper cup and peel it off.

Great pops! I used fresh apple cider for this, so some of the solids sunk to the bottom, making the first bite so full of apple flavor! I loved the tang that the vinegar brings, so it's a sweet & sour pop. So good! And will definitely be making these again! Thanks for sharing!
