How to Make

  • Step 1: In a saucepan over medium-high heat combine the first 6 ingredients (-cloves); bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves; reduce heat to medium and simmer until mixture is reduced to 3 1/2 cups (20-25 minutes); strain into a 4-cup measuring cup; cool to room temperature; stir in vinegar and vanilla.

  • Step 2: Pour into ice pop molds or into 3-ounce paper cups. Partially freeze, insert popsicle sticks (or pop covers with sticks) and freeze overnight.

  • Step 3: To get pop out of paper cup either hold it in your hand to warm it up a bit and slip it off or cut a slit in the paper cup and peel it off.
