At our house I like to plan for easy appetizers, cheese trays, veggie and fruit platters and easy to make ahead pot luck dishes to share with family and friends. Sharing some of our favourite recipes for Grey Cup party time. :)

Vegetable and dip offerings

A must make at our house is a Saskatchewan Roughrider golden oldie courtesy of Tom Whitehouse. Super easy to make and always makes for an empty platter. http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/uncle- ... sauce-2150

Another favourite is taste temping Jalapeno Pita Bites. The mini pita pockets are usually found near the bread aisle. http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/jalape ... bites-2216

And of course 'Grey Cup Natchos' always a crowd pleaser.

If you have an after the game evening planned a potluck easy to serve supper party makes entertaining a crowd easy on the hostess. When we gather at our house one of the most requested is sweet and sour meatballs, they can be prepared well ahead and kept warm in a crock pot.

Chili is another great potluck recipe for a crowd. I don't happen to have one posted. Has me hoping to see some Chili recipes added to our Grey Cup Party menu.

Cole Slaw goes well with both Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Chili, we love slaws, one of our favourite go to Cole Slaws to is http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/deluxe-cole-slaw-2722

Yes Luv, bring on the sweets! Can't have a potluck party without a tray of goodies or a dessert! :)

A couple of delicious golden oldies that are a given on the serving trays at large gatherings here on the prairies. These two are among my favourites to serve to family and friends when we gather for special occasions.
