"My new favorite lunch! Hubby barbecued some hot dogs one day, but we didn't have any buns or soft bread. We did have flour tortillas. So...I sprinkled some cheese on a tortilla, squirted some mustard all over it, lined up some sliced pepperoncini's, put the hot dog on, rolled it all up and microwaved it. Super Yum! Feel free to use your favorite hot dog condiments. "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Lay tortilla flat on a plate.

Step 2

Sprinkle cheese across the surface of the tortilla.

Step 3

Squirt mustard in a zig-zag pattern across the cheese.

Step 4

Lay hot dog along one edge of the tortilla.

Step 5

Line up pepperoncini or jalapeno slices along side of hot dog.

Step 6

Starting at the hot dog side, roll the tortilla away from you until you have an enclosed roll. *I don't bother to, but you could stick a toothpick in it to hold the roll tight. You could also wrap it in a paper towel.

Step 7

Lay roll seam side down on plate and microwave for 1-2 minutes. I do it for 1 minute in my 1200 watt microwave.

Step 8

Enjoy! And feel free to use your favorite condiments. :)

I love recipes like this, great for when you are in a hurry. I used pickled banana peppers instead of pickled jalapenos and hot mustard because we love heat. You can have this with just about anything really.

I made these today for lunch for a few of my friends and I loved it! I used Pearl's 100% Kosher Beef franks and I used pepperoncini pepper slices. It gave it a nice pickley flavor that I just love. This made for a great lunch and was enjoyed by all. Thank you for sharing this one with us T! Linda

Made this for my niece who loves hotdogs and it was devoured. I used two wieners to fill her up! Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag game.
