Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook split peas, vegetable stock, onion, carrot, turnip, parsnip, marjoram, thyme, and salt together. Cook for two hours; drain.
Step 2
Mash in blender.
Step 3
Fry minced onion in butter until lightly browned; add flour. Add to mashed vegetables.
Step 4
Beat until smooth.
