Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
In a medium bowl cream butter with vanilla until smooth.
Step 3
Combine 1/3-1/2 cup confectioners sugar and flour; stir into the butter mixture until just blended.
Step 4
Mix in the chopped walnuts.
Step 5
Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place them 2 inches apart on a lightly-greased cookie sheet.
Step 6
Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
Step 7
When still slightly warm roll all the balls in confectioners’ sugar.
Step 8
When all balls are coated in confections sugar, roll them second time.
