Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine pork, ginger, chilli, black pepper, sesame seeds, fish sauce and coriander in a medium bowl.

Step 2

Shape 2 tablespoons of the mince mixture into a patty and repeat to make 12 patties.

Step 3

Place on a plate and cover with plastic food wrap and chill for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Heat a char-grill pan over moderately high heat and brush the patties with oil and add to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side or until cooked, alternatively you could cook them on the barbecue/outdoor or indoor grill.

Step 5

Make chilli dipping sauce by combining all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

Step 6

Serve pork patties with dipping sauce and lime wedges.

We really enjoyed the flavors...I cut the recipe in half for one of our appy nights...there's just the two of us...it was a bit on the dry side...but we kept dipping the patties in the delicious chili sauce...this is a quick and easy to dish prepare...made for "Only the Lonely" tag game...
