Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a pan

Have more oil nearby as these need alot .
Step 3
Wrap shredded turnips in a clean cloth and wring the heck out of them
Step 4
The less moisture, the nicer the final product.
Step 5
Place in a mixing bowl.
Step 6
Beat two eggs thoroughly
Step 7
Add to turnips
Step 8
Add celery seed ,pepper and poppy seed and mix in well.
Step 9
Using two soup spoons, form patties and set gently in the hot oil.
Step 10
Cook for two to three minutes on a side until crisp and brown
Step 11
Keep warm on paper-towel covered plate in a low oven (200 degrees)until ready to plate.
